Terms and Conditions
By placing an order online at www.equinoxsilver.co.uk you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to our terms and conditions. Completion of the contract between you and Equinox Contemporary Jewellery Limited (ECJL) takes place upon dispatch of the items ordered, unless you have notified us that you wish to cancel your order or we have notified you that we are unable to accept your order.
No conditions or stipulations in or attached to the buyer’s order which are inconsistent with the seller’s terms and conditions of sale or which purport to add to them or modify them in any way, shall be deemed to have withdrawn or waived the said conditions or stipulations and to contract solely on the seller’s terms and conditions of sale. Only a duly authorised employee of ECJL has the authority to vary these terms and conditions.
Pricing & Descriptions – Prices quoted are retail. ECJL reserves the right to change the prices or technical specifications of the products and within the website at any time without notice. All the product and price details listed on the ECJL website are correct at the time of publication. We accept no liability for errors or omissions contained therein or resulting from the misuse of any of the information provided.
Disclaimer and Liability – Equinox Contemporary Jewellery Limited endeavour to ensure all images are a true representation of the finished product, however there might be slight variations due to print, browser and publishing limitations, as the majority of our jewellery is handmade slight variations in size can occur. Please note images are not always actual size.
Equinox reserve the right to change, modify, substitute, or remove without notice any information on the site as required.
Payment – Individual items’ prices are quoted in (£) Pounds Sterling and are excluding delivery. Orders will be subject to a delivery charge unless the value of the order is over £50 and qualifies for free postage. Payment must be made in full before orders can be released. Goods remain the property of ECJL until payment is received in full.
In the event of having to re-present a credit card payment that is in arrears, ECJL understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to our agreed terms.
Payments for all overseas orders shall be paid in (£) UK Pounds Sterling.
Delivery – We will use our best endeavours to comply with any date given or requested but time for delivery is not guaranteed unless specially agreed in writing to be the essence of the contract. In the absence of such special agreement we accept no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage of any nature and howsoever arising which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of any failure on the part of ECJL to deliver goods within the dates or periods mentioned in the contract. Any shortages should be notified 14 days from the date of posting. Please ensure that you are available to sign for the delivery of the goods and the address is correct with a full post code.
Once the goods are in the possession of Royal Mail or an international postal service, Equinox cannot be held responsible for any delivery delays, his includes delays due to inclement weather, misrouting, incorrect delivery addresses and force majeure.
Please note if you live in the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland & Non-Mainland UK, your order may take longer to be delivered.
At no cost to the customer ECJL will replace or correct goods damaged in transit providing we receive written notification of such damage within 14 days of the date of posting but not otherwise. ECJL will only be liable for direct loss up to a maximum total of the price of the product or service purchased in respect of any claim.
Cancelling an order – In the unlikely event that you should need to cancel an order, please email us. Please ensure that you include the following information: Customer name, order number, date of order.
If your order has already been dispatched, you can return any item to us within 21 days of posting. During the Festive season we will of course extend this into January.
We may refuse a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.
