What, When, Where & Why...........
We opened our jewellery shop way back in July 2005. Our philosophy has always been to present well designed and well made modern jewellery in a relaxed setting. Our aim was to create a contemporary jewellery shop that was an alternative to mainstream austere traditional jewellers. We wanted to provide a hassle free relaxing environment where customers felt free to browse British designer silver jewellery must-haves at their leisure.
We envisioned a space in which people felt comfortable and where they could enjoy discovering our beautiful silver jewellery. We wanted customers to be able to touch and pick up the jewellery without having to ask. Most importantly we wanted a shop in which visitors would ‘feel at home’ and could even accommodate a double buggy with ease!
At Equinox we have always specialised in contemporary jewellery. The majority of our jewellery collections are handcrafted in the UK and include individual pieces from small independent workshops and our own Equinox Collection of silver jewellery designed by us (Tim & Anna).
Our modern sterling silver jewellery collections include: Silver necklaces, silver pendants, stud earrings, drop earrings, silver bracelets, silver bangles, silver friendship bracelets, silver rings, cufflinks, Authentic Trollbeads, gold and silver Mojo Beads, silver fingerprint jewellery, silver and Murano glass jewellery, silver charms and charm bracelets. Many of our collections include a combination of yellow gold or rose gold and sterling silver.
Equinox's very special Silvertips range captures a person's fingerprint and preserves it forever in a unique and truly original piece of pure silver jewellery to treasure for years to come. Call in anytime Monday-Saturday 10-5. Silvertips jewellery is all handmade in our on site workshop. Silvertips jewellery takes between 4 and five weeks to be made. Although at busy times of the year this could take longer.
We also undertake jewellery repairs in our on-site jewellery workshop. We have just started a new jewellery cleaning service, so if you have some jewellery which needs a polish, call in and we will get it looking as good as new in no time!
We continually strive to find exciting and new contemporary designer silver jewellery with originality and individuality. Every purchase from Equinox Silver is tissue wrapped and beautifully presented in Equinox's distinctive boxes and bags
